Steemit Engagement Challenge - S6W4: Would Love To Learn And Develop My Skill On Farming

Greetings friends of STEEM INDONESIA, This is SHOHANA From #Bangladesh

My wishes and dreams are as simple as I am. Many people wants to be something that bring social status, good will, more money and fame. I don't want to discourage them if that bring self satisfaction too. It was not my aim to be a farmer but time to time when I grow up and realize the importance of farming I aim to develop my skill on smart farming and grow my own food someday.

Well making money and saving money is also my aim but farming is a kind of skill that I want to learn and apply when I can afford to have my own land or space. I really appreciate people doing multi tasks and making money from several sources. Farming for me a future goal, not a money making project honestly but learning the skill is most important before I can start. I'm going to discuss more about it because I find some relevant questions on it and answering them will make it more meaningful. So let me go for it.

Why do I want to learn this skill.

So the first question is why I want to learn this skill ? And my answer is, with the aim of growing my own food and contributing on farming is my aim and when I was a little kid I saw my mom doing farming like growing veggies, having hens and ducks that gives us eggs, and I was really very motivated with that.

I need to learn smart farming because our lands are not as fertile as before and my aim to grow foods in a organic way. I need to learn to make our soil fertile at first and then start farming in a smart way. I don't want to grow my crops over a night but I want to see them growing like healthy and plenty. I love spending time with nature so farming is the best choice for me but before starting I need to learn the skill of farming and earn decent amount of money to afford my own land for practice farming.

Best way to learn skills?

Best way to learn this skill is consulting expert farmers who train newbie farmers. There are many agricultural institute offer training for farming so I may join their offered training by paying fees. I can follow farmers online and can see video tutorials that they recommend to learn. There are many digital app available for farmers so I have aim to research on smart farming and follow apps and website that can help me learning this and help me to be a pro on this skill.

There are many social media community on farming so I can join their communities and group to learn more. For learning this skill practically I would love to join a training center where trainers train live or teaches by hand. Things are available online but still we prefer having live training to make things correct and execute perfectly. In the past our farmers worked like a bull in the field which means they worked really hard and got small profit from their crops.

Smart farming allow us examine the right soil for the right crops, as a result there we can save time focusing and learning some other sector of farming. Farming is not only growing crops, huge things included into it. My farming will be agricultural and crops growing like veggies and fruits. My target is organic farming and I don't want to use any kind of chemical based pesticides and fertilizers to poisonous the crop. I want to make it non-profit and later when it will make a good position and earn good name in the market then the farming could be moved to the business. But growing own food will be the motive.

What is stopping me from learning skills.

Honestly a lots of things stopping me and each reasons connected to the money, directly or indirectly. Firstly, I can't afford to buy my own land to execute the farming plan. Skill could be developed and learning could be useful when we can practice it and keep experimenting but when I don't have enough funds to lease a land or buy a land, the training on farming will be wasted.

Timing also a reason that making me stop doing this right now. I've responsibilities of my family and need to bear own expenses too so I need to work for money. I spend all my time to make money for having financial stabilities so I can't manage time for learning farming right now and the learning will be wasted without practical practice. So there are three things stopping me and those are money, time and family responsibilities and the root of all is money, only money can help me learning the skill I want.
