The phrase “Don't stress” is so short, yet emphasizes so many truths when looked at from various areas of life. With all the tasks, duties, or even uncertainty that we have, it is quite common to feel stress. However, it has to be kept in mind that stress is seldom formulates a solution to any issue. On the contrary, it clouds judgment and impedes one’s normal life. Most of us can benefit from learning how to cope with stress more effectively through the use of mindfulness, time management, or self-care as this would yield greater efficiency and peace of mind. Simple bodily functions such as breathing, learning where the locus of control it lies, and letting go/releasing the need to change the unchangeable are very explicit. We will keep facing hurdles in life; however, we can clear them and persist if we keep a thorough mind. It is important to understand that taking special care towards handling mental stress is essential in leading life in a normal and enjoyable manner, thus whenever stress tends to take over, sometimes it is required to stand back, take a deep breath and say: don’t stress.
