Steem Sri Lanka 3G contest series| week 02| A Friend In Need Is A Friend Indeed

I have always anticipated this kind of contest and I'm glad to finally see it.

There was a day I made up my mind to quit school because I couldn't get enough money to pay my fees and exams was fast approaching. My mind was just completely made up. I remember she looked straight into my eyes and told me, "Dave, do you in believe in miracle, do you actually think I'm gonna sit back and watch you quite school?
Do you know how far you've gone to stop just this half way and quite?
Now listen Dave, you ain't gonna quite".
She left and I was just there, knowing that I did not have the bandwidth to push my studies forward.
I did not know how what to do.
Little did I know she had some savings. She went to her save box, emptied it and came late in the night and handed me $74 and told me to not quite school. I couldn't believe my eyes, my heart was just racing out of joy, on cloud nine I was already heading. My heart was already swimming in cloud ten, the range of excitement had no yardstick that could contain its measurements. She smiled, gave me a peck and left.
The following day, I returned to school, payed my fees and started preparing for my exams.

Emy has actually been a catalyst of transformation for me in my music career and in my art career. She will always say, "never make prayer a substitute for hard-work".
She made me believe in the power of consistency no matter how discouraging the situation might look like.

She made me understand that everyone has flaws, so I must not let one bad moments over ride the so many good moments I had with people.
She's a full spec of true friendship.
She fulfills the saying that "the glory of friendship is not just the outstretched arm or the blissful smile, but it is the joy of companionship that one gets when he/she believes that someone else always have them in their thought".

You know, when you have someone in you thought, hurting that person will not be an ideal option to even think.
