A gift to my GrandMother | 5% for SL-Charity

My grandmother is everything for me. I love her very much. Her love for me is also the same. As the eldest son of all the families, I'm the one she had first. If she received some food, there will be my part hidden somewhere inside her room. When I come home, she gives it to me with a smile on her face.

We are in a race. A race to live a life more comfortably. Trying to earn money. But all our relationships now have to be kept aside to have those. Most of us come home at night with tired faces. There are very few opportunities to spend time with our loved ones. I missed my grandma’s love more than anything. However, I go to see her everyday after I come back home after work. It makes her really happy.

I was planning to buy her some clothes from my first salary. But now she has lots of clothes. She didn’t know I was planning to find some clothes. But a few days back she asked something from me. It is a lamp for lord buddha. I promised to bring her one and I did it the next day. Her happiness is onto the roof. I asked her for a photo to remember this day. She is very nice when I take photos of her because I can remember her everyday.

She is a real super woman to me. She raised 3 boys including my father. Those days were very hard days for her. I know those because she told me those stories. I can't even imagine how she survived all of those troubles. But she did. She values even very small things from us. It’s a very big thing for her. I will do anything to make her happy. When writing this article, I don't know why my eyes are filled with tears. Maybe some of you will understand it.
