One of my best friends' weddings was held yesterday and it was an event I will never forget. I have known him for eight years now, and it was amazing to see him finally get married to the love of his life. I wanted to share my experience at his wedding ceremony and tell you a bit about how I got to know him.
I met him eight years ago after I had completed my advanced-level examination. I joined a tuition class as an instructor and he was also working there as an instructor. That's how we got to know each other. I am so happy that I was able to be a part of his special day.
The wedding ceremony was held at the Glasgow hotel Kalagedihena, which is an incredibly beautiful and picturesque location. It's 8km away from my home. I reached the hotel after the poruwa ceremony.
The venue for the wedding was a magnificent hall that was beautifully decorated with flowers, and other decorations. The atmosphere was perfect, and it was clear that a lot of thought and planning had gone into making the event special. As soon as I walked in, we were greeted with soft drinks and a variety of appetizers, which were delicious and really set the tone for the rest of the evening. I met some of my university friends also after a very long time.
The couple opened lunch for everyone and it was a feast to remember. The food was incredibly delicious and there was something for everyone. The dessert corner was particularly attractive, it had a wide variety of sweet treats that were irresistible. I especially enjoyed the wedding cake. It was absolutely delicious.
The wedding was a beautiful and emotional event, and I was so happy to be a part of it. I am incredibly grateful to have such a great friend and I wish him and his new wife all the happiness in the world.
Wow, you are so professional in the last photograph.
