Little England By Joes

What’s on your mind when hearing the name England. I hope those are British style houses, fireplaces, cool environment, beautiful flowers and so on. So, actually this place has that background. Some of you may have already heard about this place. This place’s name is Little England Cottages. It is situated in the beautiful area of Moon plane, Nuwaraeliya.

This place has different cottages and all of them are owned by different owner. Every cottage has different structure but all of them were built according to British style. This is the main difference between this cottages and the other cottages around Nuwaraeliya. Some cottages are used as private property of their owners and few of them do business from it. Little England by Joes, Stoney croft bungalow, Pedro Barn are a few of them.

We were able to stay one night at Little England by Joes cottage. It has a family room and couple rooms. We have received a room on the top floor in this cottage. Actually, it was contained like a mini cottage. We have mini living room, tv area, kitchen and a bathroom apart from the bedroom. The material which are used in there was elegant and they have been selected according to the British style. The main attractive point is the access to our floor. They have used an elevator for that and if we only have the access card then we can use it. Therefore, security is a main point which has considered here.

They have a beautiful garden which is covered with beautiful flowers like roses, daliya and many more, another thing is you can enjoy the swing chair in the garden. Considering the environment of this place is so calm and peaceful. You can get enough relaxation in this place and also you can enjoy the true beauty of nature as well. As well as you can experience England type environmental background here.

Considering the Joes cottage you can book rooms according to your preference. You can book room BB, HB and FB basic. Since we have booked BB it costs around Rs.20,000 for two adults. I hope the price is reasonable when considering the facilities and the experience you can get here. We have received a good meal for our breakfast, and it was English type one which consists of bread with jam butter, sausages, omelets, fruits, fresh fruit juice.

We were able to get a different experience at this pace. Considering the service of them is really good. Hence, I would like to highly recommend this place to everyone.
