Hello Guys!
Last night, we decided to try out a Korean restaurant that had caught our attention in the neighborhood. It's name is Jenus Korean Kitchen. It has a cozy and welcoming space. As we sat down, the waiter handed us a pair of chopsticks along with spoons and forks. Although I had seen chopsticks hundred of times before in K-dramas, I had never used them myself. Determined to give it a try, I quickly searched for a YouTube video on how to use chopsticks. On the other hand, Praveen was using the chopsticks as drumsticks and was having a bit of fun. ๐ฅฒ It was a fun experience trying something new.
We browsed through the menu, which was packed with tempting options, and finally settled on a few dishes to share. Our first choice was the chicken nuggets, which came with a side of sweet chili sauce. The nuggets were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and had a lovely blend of flavors and textures. We quickly devoured them and eagerly waited for our main course.
It was super delicious!
Next up was the chicken and cheese ramen, which was presented in a generous bowl with a rich broth, tender noodles, chunks of savory chicken, and melted cheese on top.
It was fine until I saw an octopus arm or something!
Finally, we tried the chicken kimbap, which were rolls of rice, vegetables, and chicken wrapped in seaweed. The kimbap was colorful and fresh. But we didn't like the taste.
It should be eaten in one bite which we couldn't.
However, our experience at the Jenus Kitchen wasn't as enjoyable as we had hoped. Perhaps the unfamiliarity of the food played a role in our dissatisfaction. However, it's always worth trying new things and stepping outside of our comfort zone. Who knows, maybe we'll find a new favorite dish or restaurant in the future.
My big sis used it as a fork when I tried to teach her ๐
