Por cierto, la banda tiene 2 bateristas!!! Totalmente excéntrico.

Esta es una banda Australiana, quienes fusionan una serie de géneros casi imposible de fusionar (Boogie rock, thrash metal, folk, rock progresivo, heavy metal, surf rock, rock sicodélico, incluso soul) . Ellos, han grabado muchos álbumes y esto les ha dado la oportunidad de exponer toda su creatividad musical, la cual han llevado a niveles estratosféricos.

No es una música para todo todo el mundo, eso es claro, pero siempre me he considerado un amante de todos los géneros musicales y soy totalmente ecléctico en mis preferencias. Particularmente, me gustó esta banda.

By the way, the band has 2 drummers !!! Totally eccentric.

They have recorded many albums and this has given them the opportunity to expose all their musical creativity, which they have taken to stratospheric levels.

It is not a music for everyone, that is clear, but I have always considered myself a lover of all musical genres and I am totally eclectic in my preferences. I particularly liked this band.

Lo que me dejó alucinado, ademas de la música sicodélica de la banda, fueron esas guitarras y bajos que usaban y que se pueden apreciar en el video. Me confundí tratando de contar los trastes, nunca había visto guitarras con tantos trastes.

Luego de una pequeña investigación en Google, pude aprender que estas son "Guitarras Microtonales".

Esta característica es el alma y la esencia armónica de la música turca y del norte de África. La escala microtonal tiene su origen en la tradición árabe, dando ese toque tan característico a la música de muchas de estas culturas u otras europeas que se han visto influenciadas musicalmente por este sistema, como puede ser el flamenco, el cual tiene parte de su origen en el África negra. Para entender todo esto hay que hacer una aclaración técnica: mientras en Occidente la octava musical se compone de 12 semitonos, en la microtonal la octava está compuesta por 24 cuartos de tono. Esto se traduce en trastes más pequeños y una guitarra totalmente diferente con sonidos de herencia árabe.
