SEC14 WK:#5: Charity Begins At Home

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well. I am here to share my participation in the Steemit Engagement Challenge season 14 week 5. It's an interesting topic to share my views as I loved to help other's whenever I have money & whenever I see someone needy around me. The topic charity begins at home is the best thing in itself.

What is your view about charity and do you believe that it should begin at home?

In this world, there are so many definitions of charity and everyone has their own meaning of charity. I think helping needy people is known as charity.

Yes, I think it should begin at home because there are many needy people, which we can include needy people and poor people. It should include many factors and below I'm going to share some of them:

• It would be beneficial for needy people.

• It would help to find out the existing needy people.

• We can help many poor by giving charity

What is the motivating factor for charity work and is it good to broadcast what you have done for others?

The first major motivating factor is that some people are proud of helping others by giving charity.

• Social factor is also a very motivational factor if you give to charity and anyone see you while giving charity, it's very good because it also urge them to give charity & help people.

• If Allah Almighty gave you so much, then it's very necessary to help others, it's also a very motivational factor.

I don't think it's good to broadcast, because if you give anything to someone then keep it hidden. Because each has respect and some people don't feel well about broadcasting or charity.

When was the last time you carried out charity work for the members of your home?

If we are living in any society, all the members of the society are like our family members. Before 7 days ago, I helped a needy family by giving them some money.

I feel like it's my family and if I help them, then Allah Almighty will be very happy Allah Almighty will give me more and I can help more needy people. I always give some money to people who are selling anything on roadsides to help them without buying or taking anything in return.

It's a really good feeling when we help others because Allah Almighty gave us the order to help others or have to help others which we can do other people's help.

Your advice to others about charity?

• Find out those people, who are needy then give them charity.

• Firstly check with your own family and if anyone is needy then first give to them.

• Never make fun of anyone's by giving them charity.

• If anyone can have the ability to give charity, then please definitely give charity to the poor.

• While giving charity, don't feel them they are low, give them as a gift.
