Food Challenge Contest Week #143

Good morning and a happy new day to everyone. I hope you're all doing well and enjoying this wonderful season. A shout out to @steemkidss for this this food challenge weekly.

Today, I have this wonderful dish that's very simple and easy to make. It has just few steps but it's very very delicious. This dish is called peppersoup rice.

Ingredients used
The ingredients needed for this dish varies amongst people.

  • Rice
  • Goat meat(people also use chicken, cow meat)
  • Maggi/salt
  • Onions/pepper
  • Scent leaf(any one of your choice)

Preparation Processes

  • First, before going ahead to start preparing other items, I just wash my rice, add water and put it in a pot to cook.

  • While the rice was cooking, I went ahead to wash the goat meat and season it with my salt, Maggi, onions and pepper.

  • After preparing my meat, I noticed my rice was at the washing stage for parboiling. So I brought it down from the cooker, sieved it and washed it and returned it in the pot to cook till it's done.

  • When my rice was finally done, I then cooked my meat, when it was done after testing it. I then added my quantity of water I needed for the peppersoup.

  • While i added the quantity of water I needed, I then added my seasonings; onions, salt, pepper, Maggi for good taste, then I allowed it boil, then I finally added my scent leaf and that was all. The food was ready.

Peppersoup rice can be eaten anytime of the day. It's not a heavy meal depending on the quantity of the rice. But you can eat it as breakfast, lunch or dinner. As you please. It's a delicious light meal.

Una receta bien detallada y facil de preparar a la hora de cocinar rapldamente.

Me llamo la atencion la preparacion del arroz despues de ser llevado a la hornilla para cocinar, lo returas del fuego para lavar y luego volver a llevar al fuego? . Queda mejor preparado asi.
