Long-Legged Fly | 10% to shy-fox

in hive-144064 •  2 years ago

I happened to notice this metallic fly was a bit calm on the leaf which soon drew my attention to take a few shots with my smartphone and additional macro device. I usually ignore such a fly, but when I looked into its eyes, I decided to stay a bit longer with it.

Long-legged fly like this one is always making a lot of moves. It only stays still for a few seconds and have one of the fastest reaction times in the animal kingdom. With a lot of patience and a little luck, I was finally able to take some pictures of this eye-catching fly.

As I used to deal with the insect, the head is my primary target to shoot, because it is also harder part to get, so I like the challenge. I thank to macro for taking me to see the real beauty of these little beauty pieces of nature insects.
