Good day steemians. The task of raising a child is indeed a tedious one, which in one way or the other does not require only the parents but also involves, the child's environment or community, the school and the church. So you can be right to say that it takes a village to raise a child.

Who are the important people in your life who have helped shape you? How have they influenced your growth?

Growing up, I met different kinds of people on a daily basis that could either make or mar me. One person I can never forget would be a friend of mine. Her name was miracle. Back then in school we always hung out and I learned important life lessons from her. She was the one who taught me how to see the beauty in life. Whenever I was in a dilemma or terrible situation, she would always show me the bigger picture, the good in the bad. She taught me to see the bright side out of every situation rather than dwelling on the negative.

Another person who has helped shaped my life would be a teacher of mine back in school although dead now. That man taught me the value of discipline. He was a very strict person who believed thinhs are supposed to be done in the right way. May his perfect soul rest in peace

Some other people who has influenced and shaped me to the woman I am today are my parents, my pastor, and some close friends of mine. They have all in one way or the other taught me important things in life through my close association with them.

How does your community support families and children? Can you share any examples?

Communities play a vital role in the raising of a child. Grooming a child in the right en ironment is very important as it can influence how the child can turn out to be in the future. A peaceful communities that take moral values and principles with all seriousness can positively impact on a child.

Also community connections help children feel inclusive and develop a strong sense of belonging. They supports families and children by providing a strong sense of social connection which can help boost self confidence in children. It also provides opportunities to meet and know new people.

How can the Steemit community be like a village in raising a child? How can they support, guide, and share knowledge to help individuals grow?

Steemit is not just a meams of making money but is also an educational and social networking platform which causes us to socialize and learn directly or indirectly through contest topics and content from other users. In one way or the other the research cartied out or the various contests and content we read from each other can in a way sharpen our perspective on different aspect of life. Steemit is a plat form for learning and we learn consciously or unconsciously just by engaging in this platform.

Why is it important for children to have positive role models outside their family? How can these role models help them grow?

Role models are people who we aspire to be like that we look up to. They could also be our mentors. It is important for children to have good role models and not just role models that can help direct them in the right path in areas where parent cannot direct them. For instance, a child who wants to be a doctor in the future should have one medical doctor as a role model to help direct his footstep in the right direction. Hisor her parents cannot fill up that role for the child as they lack the knowledge in that aspect and that is why role models are important in some aspect of a child's life.

Imagine a world where everyone embraced the idea of "it takes a village to raise a child." How would this impact children and society

The notion that it takes a village to raise a child is 100 percent correct and if everyone is attuned to that idea, it will go along way in how we relate with one another. This is because, most people are in the business of minding their own and so, if they see a child who is not thiers doing wrong they may pay little to no concern to it rather than correcting such act.

With the idea that we all are responsible for the raising of the younger generation, there will definitely be a collaborative effort to groom all children in the right way no matter where they come from, when the opportunity arises.

Hello @rogue22. This insightful reflection emphasizes the importance of community involvement in raising children. It's heartening to hear about the positive impact individuals like Miracle and dedicated teachers have had on shaping the author's perspective. Indeed, embracing the idea of collective responsibility in nurturing the younger generation can lead to a more compassionate and supportive society. Nice post...thumbs up.
