In the year 2015 I traveled to Margarita Island with the intention of changing the atmosphere a little bit. Sometimes we wonder how fast time passes, and the memories make it seem like only days have passed since that moment.
En el año 2015 viajé a la isla de Margarita con la intención de cambiar un poco de ambiente. A veces nos preguntamos que tan rápido pasa el tiempo, y es que los recuerdos hacen parecer que solo han pasado días desde aquel momento.
The time is running, and we can't stop it, to know new places, it opens a lot of perspective about things that maybe you didn't know, and that's because culture always opens people's minds, sometimes we just need to know different opinions of people that live a little bit further away from us, or that feed us with their knowledge and ideas.
El tiempo corre, y no podemos pararlo, conocer lugares nuevos, te abre muchísima perspectiva sobre cosas que quizás no conocías, y es que la cultura siempre abre la mente de las personas, a veces necesitamos simplemente conocer distintas opiniones de personas que viven un poco más lejos de nosotros, o que nos nutran de su conocimiento e ideas.
Looking at these photos I can easily remember the smell of salt water, humidity and waves. The waves so relaxing that you could sleep for hours without interrupting your sleep.
Al mirar estás fotos recuerdo fácilmente el olor a agua salada, la humedad y las olas. Las olas tan relajantes que podías dormir por horas sin interrumpir el sueño.
My country has too many beautiful places, I must say that this experience was one of the best I have ever had and I will not forget it so easily.
Mi país tiene lugares demasiado hermosos, debo decir que está experiencia fue una de las mejores que he tenido y que no la olvidaré tan fácil.
The island of Margarita is considered by many as the pearl of the Caribbean, for its crystalline waters and beautiful landscape.
La isla de Margarita es considerada por muchos como la perla de Caribe, por sus aguas cristalinas y su paisaje hermoso.
These days I've been looking at some old photos from this trip, which have transported me to this Caribbean environment, its people and its traditions.

The San Carlos de Borromeo Castle is a military structure located in the Bay of Pampatar.

It is a very beautiful place, especially because it was rebuilt several times in order to provide an older image of it.

I love visiting old places in order to know a little more about our own culture, where we come from, being something that can never be forgotten, no matter how much we visit other countries and other cultures.
Me encanta recorrer lugares viejos con el fin de conocer un poco más sobre nuestra misma cultura, de dónde venimos, siendo algo que jamás se podrá olvidar, por más que visitemos otros países y otras culturas.
I remember that that day my parents and I said, let's go for a walk in the bay, and seeing this castle from afar it was impossible to refuse to enter. From the beginning he caught us with his structure limiting us completely to think twice.
Recuerdo que ese día mis padres y yo dijimos, vamos a dar un paseo por la bahía, y al ver este castillo desde lejos fue imposible negarnos a entrar. Desde el comienzo nos atrapo con su estructura limitándonos completamente a pensarlo dos veces.
When we enter, what stands out the most is that the view is beautiful, we can see the sea and the calm waves, at the time we went there were no more people on the shore.
Al entrar lo que más destaca es que la vista es hermosa, podemos ver el mar y las olas tranquilas, a la hora que fuimos ya no había gente a las orillas.
The tranquility of the sea is very beautiful, it transmits an incredible peace that makes us think, with this I have everything.

If you ever decide to go, I recommend it is an extremely beautiful place.
As it is a port, small boats always arrive, with merchandise, as you can see.
Si alguna vez deciden ir, se los recomiendo es un lugar sumamente hermoso.
Como es un puerto siempre llegan pequeños barcos, con mercancía, como podrán observar.
