Promoting steemit social media || Hosting an online class and encouraging those who feels steemit is hard

It's another day of Promoting steemit social media. This time I took a break on promotion and looked out to those I've signed up and also see their progress. Some of them are actually progressing while some are giving excuses, others feel it's too stressful. I had to do the needful to revive them as well as encourage those who has already started making progress to push on. Before that, let me talk about my class on how I introduced steemit social media platform and signed up two users who were active.

It was time for my class as specified on the flyer. I introduced a brief video that tend to be a welcome speech. This video prepared the minds and hearts of those who are yet to hear about this platform that pays people for sharing a summary of their day. After the video, I made a conscious move which was, **The platform I told you guys on Facebook that paid me for sharing how my day went is called Steemit. I made a summary of my class which was to end in 45 minutes.

I discussed deliberately on what steemit is and why we should invest on steemit either as content creators or investors. I compared the popular social media platform with steemit, listed out its similarities and its major differences. One of the difference I made clear was that unlike Facebook that doesn't pay you until you have attained a particular amount of followers or influence on the platform and have monetized your account, steemit pays you even with no followers.

All you have to do is create quality contents. On Facebook, you're getting likes for the post you make but on steemit, you're getting dollars.

I emphasized why it's essential to join this platform which is for a lifetime and how they'll be earning on the platform. After these, I opened the group for questions of which I answered them. After series of questions on the group by people, I drop the sign up link for them to sign up. I instructed them on how they'll sign up and login on the platform.

After doing the needful, they messaged me with their usernames of which I gave them an audio guide on how they'll set up their accounts, join Communities and follow up one another. Two people signed up of which their usernames are @preshtoch6 and @davis29. I gave them homework the same way I give other of my students and then ended the class.

So far, I've been able to sign up a handful of newbies and have guided some through. @mp2 has completed his achievement 2 and is about to enter achievement 3. @ynglu22 is making rapid progress. 5 others are on their achievement 1 while 4 have done their achievement 1 and are about to do achievement 2.

Some users reported to me that they don't have data to come online. Some say they process is just too long and can't continue. Done said other things. I organized a class which I talked this out. I started by dropping a video which emphasized on putting their mind on Steemit, giving their best in what they do, not giving up or listening to the rejection. If they do these, there's nothing that would be unachievable for them.

I also threw light of the popular lady called Hilda who broke the world's record in cooking for 100 hours on a stretch. What made her achieve that task? Because she was determined. She refused to listen to excuses. If her fellow gender achieved that some years ago, she can to. So I linked it up with steemit that if they are determined to be financially independent individuals, they'll do what it takes not looking back. The reason why we have so many poor people today is because they failed to have a transformed mindset.

After those motivational quotes, I dropped another video that emphasizes paying the price. If they actually want to be successful,they have to pay the price which includes giving their time. Some of my students dropped motivations too as shown below.

After the motivation, some messaged me telling me they were ready and that I should guide them through. That was that for the day.
