These services have become valuable by aggregating user data, but once it is aggregated, only the corporation running the service can use it, stifling innovation and giving users no stake or say in how their data is processed or what features are provided to them.
The SNS technology aims to change this model by fully decentralizing services and giving users a stake as part owners and members of the team that runs the service. This would make the resulting decentralization much fairer and more engaging for users. The service can also be fully tokenized, allowing for the implementation of more compelling features than what is currently possible in the centralized model.
