To me, being shameless can be a two way thing. Which implies that it can be empowering and at the same time destructive, it can be a catalyst for confidence, resilience and success whereas in other way round,it can also manifest arrogance, entitlement and a disrespect to others.
See, when you are unapologetically yourself, you are more likely to take risks, speak your mind as well as developing a strong sense of self worth. But there's another manifestation of being shameless,it may manifest as lacking empathy, compassion and humility. So in other to navigate this complexity of being shameless, it's essential to find a balance between confidence and compassion, audacity and empathy by practicing self-awareness, introspection and humility as well as developing empathy and compassion for others.
This balance allows you to fully harness the benefits of being shameless such as confidence, resilience and success while trying to avoid pitfalls such as arrogance, entitlement, and a disregard for others. Once you embrace this balancing, you can be confident, resilient and true to yourself without compromising your relationships..
In conclusion,I see being shameless as authentic, confident and resilient rather than being reckless or arrogant.
