I am no longer here but I haven’t forgotten about them and how we lived a brotherly life. It’s been two years since I did my philosophy in this seminary but I haven’t forgotten what it means to put on this white cassock and do the activities in the seminary here in St Thomas Aquinas Major seminary Mkd.

I miss this place

I spent just few hours at the seminary but it was more than enough to get that experience I have had before and it feels really good once again to be on the compound with the guys. I have missed them so much and I miss the serene environment and the way life was. We had so many persons coming from different locations to visit the seminary compound just to have moments to reflect and meditate.

My classmates are in the second year theology just two years before they are ordained deacons and subsequently priests.

Unfortunately I was asked to leave the seminary and I won’t be ordained with them. It is quite painful how these went with me at the seminary but I am happy now and feel what God has for me is different from this calling. We have different vocations and maybe this is not mine.

Back in the seminary during my philosophy days the secretary was also my friend and she was constantly advising me and sharing with me so many things to encourage me because she knew what kind of challenges we had.
