Mentoring people has always been what I love doing and knows how to do best. It's not just about signing up a user on steem, drilling them to attain independence on the platform is what should be our priority. Week before Last, I signed up 6 users on this platform and last week , I still signed up 6 users of which two have done their achievement 1 post. @twinkly and @bee5
What will this week become of me? Did I just stopped at sign up stage? Nope, I'm hosting mentorship. Those I signed up week before last were trained last week and those that joined last week would be trained this week.

Most of these users are actually a month plus on the platform and because of the power outage in my state, I was unable to hold the training with them as some complained. So here we are now, active with the users I signed up week before last.
Having completing their achievement 1 task as shown above, I added them to a mentorship forum via social media where they'll learn the basics about the platform. While mentoring, they'll apply in terms of posts as assignment would be given to see how good they are and to know if they understand fully.
This is how the mentorship class runs;
- it's always by 9pm
- 3-4 days in a week
- Assignments after classes
- Use of screenshots and voice notes during class
- Attending to questions after the class
- Teaching yourself
Mentorship on rules and etiquettes on Steemit |

Rules and etiquettes on steemit was the first thing I taught them after guiding them through on their achievement 1 was rules and etiquettes on the platform. They needed to know this before forging ahead. I took my time in deliberating on the below;
Rules and etiquettes on Steemit
In everything we involve ourselves into doing, there are laws, rules and principles that governs our actions. If you go to learn a skill, you'll be told certain do's and don'ts
On steemit, there are rules and regulations governing the platform as a blogging site. If you copy someone's writeups from the net and post on Amazon as yours, Amazon would use a detective means to check if you've actually violated the rules. If yes, your account gets banned immediately...
These are some of the rules on steemit

After the class, I gave them these assignments to carryout.....All of them submitted their assignments and waited for the next class on wallet transactions. It was an interesting session. After the class, I do drop motivational texts to ginger them more.
I'm about creating a challenge to make them consistent. This challenge is to reward the first three persons that reaches 150 steem power in a month.
Before ending promotion, I added two more users to the group, one who signed up since but was ignorant on what to do on the platform and the other, signed up by me.
Absolutely! Mentoring and guiding people on Steem is a wonderful way to contribute to the community and help others succeed on the platform. It's not just about getting them signed up, but also about empowering them to become independent and confident users. Your passion for mentoring shines through, and I agree that making it a priority can lead to a more vibrant and supportive community. Keep up the great work of supporting and empowering others on Steem! 👍🌟😊
