Often , Whenever I encounter a suicide experience, I wonder WHY ????
Why must anything cause a lively healthy soul to voluntarily take his/ her Life , either by drug , hanging , gun shot or whatever ???
Relationship and Financial lacks seem to top reasons advanced for suicides worldwide . Why should relationship breakdown lead to suicide ??
Without social welfare in place , why can't the financially challenged take to ready available manual jobs to survive temporary???

Human society has constructed the concepts of "right" and "wrong", which are actually philosophical polarities in the human value system. The problem with this is that we keep saying these are unchanging values that define our integrity and yet we keep changing them from time to time, usually over generations. We also seem to have different value system among us within a given time frame, depending on geographical location, nationality, religion, race etc.
We seem to be okay with slow death caused by say, cigarettes, but not okay with quick death, such as suicide and euthanasia. Hence if someone kills himself his family loses insurance benefits but he did that with cigarettes his family gets the insurance benefits. If the doctor assists you to end your life it is termed manslaughter, whilst the cigarettes company does the same and gets away with it in the name of commerce.
Why is it okay to end life slowly and prolong suffering yet it is not okay end life immediately to end suffering? Do we like suffering so much? Why is that a section of our society believes in "heaven" and yet so afraid of going there that they try everything possible to prolong life on Earth?
Haven't we built a society based on paradox?
