It is my pleasure and i count it a great privilege to participate in this contest. In this Steemit engagement challenge for Season 2 with a topic titled **My Childhood** by @shiftitamanna in Steem For Betterlife. I will like to make my entry using the contest hint as provided below to share my humble thoughts. I implore you to follow me gradually as I make my entry in this interesting contest which has so much reminded me of my childhood experience.

✅ Did you enjoy your childhood?

Yes! I really did enjoyed my childhood like many other kids. At that innocent stage in life every child is bound to experience life differently which maybe determined by his or her geographical area, economy status of once parent or guardian, social status of once parent or guardian, emotional support and care giving derived by others around him/her, ones friends and other relatives and neighborhood, security etc.

There are so many reasons that makes children to be more comfortable and also make them enjoy their childhood. To me I have the best parents in the world who gave me so much love and care among others according to their status of whom I am very much grateful to.

It will be important to know that the status of once parent or guardian being rich those not guarantee the child to enjoy his/her childhood cause some poor kids may enjoy their childhood much more than others because of other factors available to them.

✅ What is the first childhood memory?

Hmmmm! I cannot forget the first time I visited the Wildlife Park (Zoo) with my then classmates during our primary school days. It was a distance journey and very adventurous, seeing all manner and different kinds of animals which I do only see in pictures from school textbooks and suchlike and now seeing them live was really amazing.

Unlike today where by the level of improvement in technology, one can watched via televisions, phones etc; those days even the black and white TV were only seen by the have not the have not. Visiting the Zoo with my then classmates was indeed fascinating.

I can respond to this question with a capital "yes", this is because I am an extrovert though not to an excess level. I love having people around me, I love socializing a lot, I am also a very confident type because I so much believe in myself and those not subject myself to intimidations easily, I love people and I am also lovable. I have so much take it upon myself to work on my pride among many other things that will make people withraw away from me.

There are somany reasons behind me having many friends which time will fail me to put down here. It is also important to know that among many friends I have some that are special due to how close we are and also I have best friends among them too.

✅ Do you think it is better for children to grow up in cities or villages?

Yes! This is because once environment can have great impact on once life. The cities are bound to have somany advantages in shaping once destiny due to somany reasons. The level of infrastructure, technology, expertise among many other things in the villages compared to the cities can never be marched.

It is also important to note that among many other things it is also the function of once choice, discipline, determination, goals etc of an individual. I said this because for example despite the disadvantage the village may have educationally wise compared to the cities, I have discovered that that some kids from the village are very intelligent and more outstanding when they meet with the city kids in universities and suchlikes.
