Greetings,
I thought about joining in a run race. This is popular in different communities in order to engage in physical activities, fun run, charity , etc. Recently, the Sm to Sm Run. It has 14,000 participants and looks so interesting joining into different people. I wanted also to measure my endurance. Can I finish the 15k run or more? It's still a question until I can join a run race.

Today I installed a step counter app in order to calculate the distance and time of my running. I prepared myself at 4:00 p.m. The weather is still hot at 30° Celsius. I have no running shoes so I just wore my old Kyrie Irving basketball sneakers. I also a bottled water, towel, and shades. I did the run walk method because I certainly can't run straight. I reached at the Marcelo Fernan Bridge around 4:30. It's 5.8 km from my house.

Then I run down towards Pusok, Lapu-lapu City. It is a first class urbanized city of Cebu. It is surrounded with hotels and different establishments. There l decided to just walk because it has a small pedestrian and a little crowded on the road.

Then I visited the newly built park at underneath the First Bridge at Lapu-lapu City.
The Bridge Park features scenic waterfront views, dedicated jogging and walking paths, and open spaces for fitness activities such as yoga and zumba. It opens daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.; but visitors must adhere to a set of rules and regulations to ensure a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment.
It has number of visitors enjoying the newly open park. I also saw my co-workers present in the place. I took several pictures then I left and climbed towards the First Bridge.

This First Bridge was also known as Serging Veloso Osmeña Jr. Bridge. A truss bridge
connecting Lapu-lapu City and Mandaue City. It is colored with orange and the side of the bridge was fence by wire because there lot of incidents of suicide by jumping on the bridge. I posted a video on my Facebook. If you have time please watch it.

Finally I passed the two bridge and it became dark. When I reached home I look at the result. I run for 7.1 kilometers and burnt 493 kilocalories. My legs are still good and felt less pain. Hopefully, I can continue this routine for my goal on joining a 10-15k run race.
