@bettervision after two years on the steemit blockchain and working with fundition has finally been able to achieve a reputation of 70 which is not an easy feat. All our achievements since our conception on the blockchain would be attributed to our ever loving and supporting backers, supporters and donors. We could never have done it without them and so today as we celebrate a reputation of 70 amidst this corona pandemic which has put the world into a pandemonium let look back on some the things we have achieved as a blockchain based organization.
Since our enrollment on the blockchain we have been able to embark on over 100 outreaches all of which were geared towards deprived communities who lack basic health care and amenities which would otherwise make life just a little better. Glaucoma Week Outreach at Twedie We have been able to partner with lots of other humanitarian and philanthropic associations to render services to communities for free and continue to do so.
We have managed to acquire more diagnostic instruments such as the ophthalmoscope, retinoscope and trial lenses for effective and more efficient healthcare execution on our outreach programs and have been able to procure drugs and lenses for free distribution whenever we embark on these outreaches. Our number has grown significantly from an 8 member group to over 30 students and continues to do so day in day out.
Recently in the outbreak of COVID19 we were able to distribute 10 sanitizers (Corona Outbreak in Ghana, How we plan to help) to market women who were in dire need and couldnt afford due to inflation rate that came up as a result of increase in demand. We hope it goes a long way to help them and their families. We are making plans to do more. Our education articles Vernal Conjuctivitis have have over 200 posts enlightening steemians on basic eye healthcare and conditions which may be sigh threatening and must be looked out for. We have successfully participated in world sight day and world glaucoma healthcare activities for the past two years and would be continuing to do so to the benefit of the society.
As this is not an exhaustive list our main aims still remain unchanged. We wish to reach out to the poor and needy, those in deprived towns and communities who can have access to basic healthcare and to provide these services for free. Your help is continuously needed even as we face these crisis, we call on all our donors, backers and supporters to continue to be with us, help us to help us that a life may be better.
Once again we Ayekoo to all and sundry for the love they have shown us especially @pennsif who has been a great supporter and a guide all these years and to @scoop-stakes, @ackza, @adollaraday, @girlsfoundation, @mcsamm, @anamang, @steemitashanti @surfyogi @bleepcoin @ackza @indigoocean @nanzo-scoop @steemstem @demotruk @pennsif @steem-ambassador @kasho and @wafrica. We say a very Big Thank You. God bless you all for the love, we will continue to do our best to help humanity in our very small way we can. Always remember that the change starts from the man in the mirror. Stay Safe. Stay Blessed. Stay at Home. Help fight COVID19. #SpreadCalmNotFear
