Here's an exciting thing that's happening in Steem right now!

Honestly, I didn't know about the announcement earlier today until I realize that there's something different in my Steemit Wallet.

There seems to be an option to create a Tron account on the Steemit wallet page now. And then it reminded me of a discussion some months ago that every steemit user will be receiving Trx as an additional reward for every post rewards received. I'm not really sure if the mechanics were laid in that post back then but there's an official post by Steemit Team right here

Basically, the Trx rewards will be distributed based on the SP rewards received by the author & curator. The amount is 1 SP reward to receive 1 Trx as an additional reward. Both authors & curators receive additional Trx rewards.

To maximize this additional reward, the post must set to 100% SP reward.

As a curator, you are basically double-dipping in Steem & Trx for doing the same thing you do prior to this integration.

The same thing for authoring posts in any Steemit frontend, the Steem-Trx integration is considered a great value added to the same thing posting activity as before.

With this news, it will be a great boost in user activity, especially in the Steem ecosystem.
