Yesterday marks the end of the first campaign of the #blurtswarm initiative and I'm very that my application was included among the many that made it to the selection round. My application is not approved yet and it will still go through a selection process alongside the other applications.
For this 1st campaign, there are 31 valid applications were accepted. It may not be much but it's more than enough to say that there's a good indication that the #blurtswarm initiative is considered by many as a worthwhile project to get involved in. I'm one of the participants that think of this initiative as a good motivation for the Blurt community and it's also a good way to distribute Blurt stakes to the ones who see value in it. Also, the participants are also expected to perform based on their commitments written in their proposals so we could expect a good turnaround for the #blurtswarm initiative. The delegations that will be provided to the approved proposals will assist in distributing the blurt rewards in an altruistic way.
By the time the selection process is completed, there will be 20 personal initiatives from different Blurtters that will work independently for this network. For this 1st campaign, the approved applications will have 3 months to implement their ideas and make use of the Blurtpower delegations to jumpstart it.
So if ever my application will be approved by #blurtswarm, I will work on ways to sparking more engagement with other Blurtters. Also, I will start routinely (daily or weekly) musing-type posts with the hopes that other users will share thoughtful comments about it. Of course, I will utilize the BP delegation to reward engagement in every corner of the Blurt network.
