The crisis of financial illiteracy and depolarization of wage earners.

One of the things I find interesting is that we live in an age where we have access to more information on every possible topic, videos and research sources then we have ever had.... which should give us the most diverse and fact filled debates on the worlds problems in the history of mankind.

But we are not having those diversified fact filled discussions and exchanges of ideas. We are instead dividing ourselves up into small groups of people who acknowledge and digest only one selective slice of available information which supports preconceived notions of persecution of their selected group.

This promotes divisiveness and inhibits the free exchange of ideas and information that the wage earners need to unify and use existing processes in capitalism to earn higher wages and improve their collective lives.

Ironically at a time wage earning people should be processing the abundance of information showing that the owners of production are getting richer in a system where wages have not kept pace with inflation, and the global banking system is making wage earners into wage slaves, the masses suffer from an epidemic of financial illiteracy.

Please don’t get me wrong. I don’t begrudge the executives salaries and company profits. Those things are a testimonial to the success of those businesses.
What saddens me is the subsistence wages of the workers. What saddens me is the ignorance of finances which is the root of wage slavery and debt prison, entangling millions of everyday people.

What we should be reading and talking about is how to achieve wage increases which keep up with inflation and good benefits. What we should be taking about is paying the people doing the work higher wages, which keep up with inflation and good benefits. What we should support is financial literacy.

When I see executives earning million dollar salaries, multi-million dollar stock bonuses and company stock buybacks costing hundreds of millions of dollars I am saddened that this proof of profit doesn’t galvanize individuals to send their union representatives into the offices of these executives with demands for higher wages.

Instead I see wage earners preoccupied debating racial issues, religion and other depolarizing issues which promote violence between different groups. When are all going to wake up and realize we are all in the same canoe, and we need to paddle together to get anywhere?

All of this divisive & depolarizing activity distracts us from the most important task at hand: increasing wages, reducing wage slavery and teaching financial literacy. We have the tools to gather the very public information about the success of our businesses and corporations. And with this information and knowledge of the corporate system wage earners could do far better financially with collective educated action. But we lack the collective will to organize, negotiate and educate ourselves about finances.

Instead we are becoming small groups of armed angry people listening to hate speech and feeling persecuted, agitated, ignored, cut out of the economic rewards and acting like crabs in a barrel tearing each other down.

The centuries old concept of divide and conquer is alive as the majority of wage earners poor are all fed misinformation, which is designed to keep the different groups from coming together and using the power of their numbers. They are all getting taken of advantage of, but they cannot see it.

The one percent is richer then they have ever been, while wage earners are poorer then they have ever been. When will we wake up and realize how the financial system is stacked against wage earners??

The global banking system and corporate greed are the true enemies of the wage earners. I wonder if we will ever learn.

Stay thirsty for knowledge my friends.

It’s more then ironic, it’s very, very sad. The masses are fighting over the crumbs separately when they could each get a sandwich if they worked together.

I love your quote about the canoe!
“We are all in the same canoe. We need to learn to paddle together if we are to get somewhere”.
