Hello dear friends. Hope you are doing well!

Today I'll be writing about women as queen of gossip. The word queen is refered to a wife of a king or a woman who is in possession of power to rule a particular group.

Now let me talk about what gossip is. Gossip is having a discussion about someone or something that might not be true. If the gossip is about someone, it's usually in the absence of that person. Gossip usually occurs in a social or casual setting.

Gossip may lead to:

1. Distrust: Distrust is a state whereby a person is not reliable and can not be confided in. Imagine confiding in your friend about your challenge and the next day you hear it from another person. You will sure not trust that your friend again.

2. Depression: Depression is a state of emotional break down. When a person is depressed it can be as a result of sadness and worry. This usually affects the person that is being gossiped about. If the person finds out that certain bad things have been said about him or her in his or her absence, it can lead to depression.

3. Hatred: We hate people when we totally dislike them. Did you know that hate can be transferred? Yes, it can because if I am gossiping someone I hate and keep telling you awful things about the person whether true or false, eventually you will start to dislike the person.

Why are women called the queen of gossip?

In the olden days, women were usually house wives and had little or nothing doing while the men were engaged in many jobs and were usually busy. I think women are called queen of gossip because of the olden day practices.

I believe that gossip is a thing for jobless people. In our society today, we still have women that sits and gossip but believe me I have seen men gossip too.

Nowadays some men even gossip more than women. We have jobless men in our society that knows how to gossip about one thing or the other.

Which topics do women like to gossip about the most?

Women often gossip about their fellow women, relationships, men and outfits.

They like to talk more about relationship. If you make a mistake to complain about one thing going wrong in your relationship to a friend that gossips, sorry because your case will sure make one of the gossip topic.

Men on the other hand gossip about women they have been able to lure to bed.

How do women find time to gossip despite having such a busy routine?

I use to wonder how a woman will have time in a busy schedule to gossip but I have realised over time that it's actually lazy women that gossip.
Most women that gossip do not have any job.

What kind of news do women like to hear? About neighbors or about movies?

I'll say that women who gossip will be very interested in the affairs of their neigbours so that they will have a topic to talk and laugh about.

On the other hand, women also have great interest in movies. For some women, watching a movie is a means of making them to relax. So rather than sitting to talk about things that are not legit, they rather watch a movie.

In conclusion, I am of the opinion that there are two classes of women. The first is the working class independent women who hardly have time for themselves and family. The second is the jobless dependent women who sit idle waiting for their men to do everything for them. Its usually the second class of women that have time to gossip and they are refered as the "queen of gossip". The queen of gossip is capable of adding salt to an injury by saying things that are not even true about another, tarnishing the image of that person. My advice to these set of women is that you should abstain from it.
