What happened

There is this woman name Theresa in my neighborhood, she has been married and leaving with her husband now for about five years now. They have two children already, a female and male child as the second born.

For the past five years that they have been married,, the man usually gives her money for Christmas clothes (both she and their two kids).
But something dramatic happened one week back.

The husband returned from work happily and told the woman that he was going to transfer money to her account, so she can buy her clothes and their children's own. So in the morning, the man transferred the sum of 80,000 naira to her account and with so much joy in his heart, He pleaded with his wife to manage it. He said that is all He can afford for this years Christmas cloth.

Guess what the woman's response was? She angrily replied to her husband that what will she use ordinary 80,000naira for,, she finally told the husband that she is going to transfer the money back to him if he didn't make the money 100,000naira. The husband pleaded with her to understand with him,, but the woman refused to understand,, the man got tired of pleading and left the house so furious.

And instead of the woman to keep the money he has sent to her account,, She transferred the money back to the husband's account, saying that she can never accept 80,000naira for Christmas clothes.

When the husband got home,, the only thing he said to the woman was that,, Since she rejected the 80,000naira He gave her, He won't give her any money for Christmas clothes from now henceforth. So when the woman noticed that the husband was so furious,, She in turn pleaded with him to resend the 80,000naira for her to manage but the man refused sending the money back.

Till now,, the man has not send her the 80,000naira back to her and He has sworn not to give her even 1naira for Christmas clothes for this year and the subsequent once.
As it stands now,,, the woman is still pleading with the husband to forgive her for being ungrateful, the husband said He has forgive her but He won't give her back the money.

I just pray and hope that the man changes his mind soon,, as Christmas is fast approaching....

What I learned from it

I have learned to be appreciative and thankful for the little someone will give me. Because, it is not easy for someone to debit himself and credit you, especially in this hard economy.

I have also learned the importance of accepting and being thankful for what you have at hand. If you decide to chase others that aren't not in your hands, instead of guiding what you already have, you might end up losing all of them.

There is this addage that says A bird at hand is worth more than 1000 birds in the bush

Thank you all for reading till this very point.... I am grateful🙏🙏🙏

I will love to invite @vishwara and @jyoti-thelight to join this contest.

Thanks so much ma'am for the review and your awesome comment on my post 🙏

It's really sad that in this gard times, some women can't even understand things or appreciate the little efforts the man is making. One should endeavour to be peaceful in marriage so as to avoid temptation. The women in this story isn't peaceful at all.

I appreciate your comment on my blog🙏
