The Diary Game | 09th of November 2024 | ♥ A Well-Balanced Day! ♥

It is Saturday, 09th of November.

It was the day of my dad's eye surgery, so I woke up early to drop Mom and Dad off at the hospital at 6:00 a.m. We prepared everything and left home at around 5:30 a.m. We were on time at the Lions Gift of Sight Hospital in Panadura.

After dropping off Mom and Dad, we decided to spend some time at the beach. We had a wonderful time playing with the waves with little Vihan. I felt that spending even a few minutes at the beach can bring so much relaxation and joy, I believe these are the luxuries we have in our lives. I also wished I could come every day to spend a few hours relaxing and walking along the beach.

Vihan loves to be in the water, and being at the beach makes him go crazy. He played with sand and water as much as he wanted. He was very excited and enjoyed every bit of the moment.

After spending a few hours at the beach, we headed back home. Since my parents weren't home, I planned to cook lunch at home before going back to pick them up from the hospital. After having a light breakfast, I started preparing the meal. My husband helped a lot by looking after the baby and doing the other chores at my parents' home.

Once the meal was ready, I served the food to my husband and fed Vihan. Just after we finished, we received a call from Mom that the surgery was over. It was time to go to pick up Mom and Dad. We hurried and got ready and went to the hospital. It was such a relief to see Dad doing well after the surgery. We drove home and took a short rest.

Meanwhile, I quickly served the lunch, and we enjoyed the meal together. By the evening, we were exhausted, as the warm weather made it even more hectic. It was warm enough to give us a slight headache.

After putting Vihan down for his evening nap, I took the opportunity to take a break from work and get some rest as well. Later, In the evening, we went to pick up some essential groceries from the nearby supermarket.

When we got home, we immediately changed and got ready for dinner because we were really hungry. Since I prepared food for both lunch and dinner, I just had to serve it hot. While we had dinner, I watched the Sri Lanka vs. New Zealand match with the family. Afterward, it was Vihan's bedtime. I put him to sleep and then watched my favorite TV series on YouTube. I felt very sleepy right after I ended up watching YouTube.
