The rainy season has arrived, and mosquito season has returned. Malaria is a severe public health concern, killing thousands of people globally. The lack of a preventive system and cheap healthcare services complicates matters.
Malaria is not a contagious disease it cannot be transmitted from one person to another, so the only way it can be transmitted is by a mosquito bite .
Malaria medications have now doubled, if not quadrupled, making it difficult for middle and low-income people to manage.
Back then at my childhood days, my mum would always touch me and my siblings regularly to feel our temperature, open our eyes and observe the Colour of our hands to be sure we're Normal. Anti malaria was always administered to us. So this made me not to take malaria too serious.
Whenever people say malaria could kill someone, I would just look at the person as if they don't know what they are saying, because it not my fault. Someone was fighting my malaria battles, and all I was doing was to cry and struggle to free myself whenever they give me injection.
How do people get Malaria, mention 5 things we can do to it. |

People can get malaria when a mosquito that is infected with the plasmodium parasite bites a person, Malaria is a serious disease that spreads when you’re bitten by a mosquito infected by malaria parasites. When it bites, the mosquito injects malaria parasites into your bloodstream. Malaria is caused by the parasites, not by a virus or by a type of bacterium.
If left untreated, malaria can cause severe health problems such as seizures, brain damage, trouble breathing, organ failure and death.

Malaria affects communities in the difference way, Mosquitoes breathe inside stagnant erosion water, this is to say that mosquitoes will be available in those communities that are found with the habit of keeping stagnant erosion water and even dirty water.
Mosquitoes also live in communities where there are much Bush so it is adviceable that the community people should always clear there bush to prevent them from mosquitoes. We can only control malaria through cutting of cutting off the bush in our communities and in our environment...
We can also control malaria by health educating the community members on the use of mosquito nets and pesticide use, because people use there mosquito nets to cover their plants 😂😂😂.
Why are mosquitoes linked to Malaria, and how can we control them to stop the disease? |

Mosquitoes are linked to malaria because Female anopheles mosquito is noiseless. Many people believe that they don’t get bitten by mosquitoes, especially if they don’t hear them buzzing sound, the female mosquitoes are the responsible for spreading the parasite..
