It's good posting here again . I believe each and every one of us here is doing well with our health.

What is food

As we all know food is any substance that people or animals eat or drink or that plants absorb in order to maintain life and growth.

Medicinal value of food

Food with medical value are foods that not only meet the nutritional needs of the human body but also have good physiological function. Such foods must contain all the necessary food nutrients like protein, carbohydrates,fats, vitamins and other trace elements related to the treatment of diseases promoting nutrient absorption, improving human health and other functions.

There are so many different kinds of food all over the world but there are some considered to be powerful medicines to the body and what they do :
These include

How can we use food in our daily lives to keep healthy

Eating a healthy diet that includes lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and a moderate amount of unsaturated fats, meat and diary can help one maintain a steady weight. We should also eat lots of fruits and vegetables.more fish,cut down on saturated fat and sugar ,eat less salt and also drink a lot of water.

Is it important for schools to teach pupils the importance of food as medicine to their body?

I strongly believe that schools should teach pupils the importance of food as medicine for their body because they need to understand that food fuels their bodies and they need to learn from an early age what to avoid and what to embrace to create a better life filled with the right nutrients in order to think better,run faster have better behavior and that list of healthiness goes on and on.
