There's this joke about an Engineer and a Doctor who fell inlove with a particular lady. The Doctor usually visited the lady more often than the Engineer. And every time he went to visit her, he would go with varieties of gifts. But the few times the Engineer would visit her, he must go with apples to give to her. So, one day, the lady asked the Engineer why he brings apples everytime. The Engineer said that the apples will keep the Doctor away....🤣🤣🤣

Keeping the Doctors away simply means staying healthy. It also means not visiting the hospital for any form of treatment. The saying that apples keeps the Doctors away is well known in my locality. Apples act as preventive medicine for many type of illnesses and it seems to be true. It is of great benefits to eat at least an apple in a day.
Yes, I have heard of the saying before.....
It is a popular idiom that recommends eating apples every day. That it helps to maintain good health and also prevent regular visiting of Hospitals. Although apples are indeed a nutritious fruit that can make a part of a balanced diet, note that this saying is just a catchy message and not a scientifically proven fact.
No , I don't think just by eating apples everyday, can keep the Doctors away.
Although apples are a good source of vitamins, antioxidants and fiber which helps to sustain and maintain overall health and wellness. But, maintaining good health also requires many other factors like ; exercise, regular medical check-ups, good sleep, etc. So, eating just only apples everyday does not guarantee that Doctors will actually stay away.
Apples are very nutritious fruits and they have several health benefits. Some of these benefits include:
1) Nutrient-rich: The nutrients in an apple can support overall health and contribute to a balanced diet, as they are rich in dietary fiber, antioxidants and vitamin C. Also, the fiber in apples facilitates digestion and the antioxidants prevents constipation.
2) Blood sugar level regulation: The fiber in apples can help in regulating blood sugar levels and reduce the chances of having diabetes.
3) Weight management/control: Calories in apple is low but apple is high in fiber , making it a satisfying food/snack that can help to manage weight by controlling hunger.
Apart from eating apples, other healthy habits and foods can contribute to overall health and well-being. They include:
1):Eating varieties of fruits and vegetables/Ensuring a balanced diet in Everyday meal: Consuming different kinds of fruits and vegetables/diets help in gaining numerous vitamins, nutrients and minerals which contributes to healthy life.
2) Proteinous foods: Adding sources of protein, such as fish, poultry , meat and legumes, can support muscle health and help in rapid growth.
3) Regular physical activity: Exercising regularly can help maintain a healthy weight, improve cardiovascular health, boost the immune system. I mean simple exercises like walking, taking the stairs instead of elevator, running etc. It doesn't have to be lifting heavyweights 🤣🤣
A balanced diet with regular physical activities and other healthy habits, can maintain a healthy lifestyle.

I would create this saying to advocate the numerous health benefits of banana. Bananas consist of essential nutrients that contribute to an overall well-being. The saying suggests that adding banana into your diet can promote physical/mental health. This can take out stress and keep the mind at rest. Also, the refreshing taste of bananas can also provide a mental and emotional stability.
Eating good food , fruits and vegetables is vital in maintenance of good health and overall well-being. Incorporating apples could also add more benefits to it. As we embark on the journey of our daily activities, taking at least one apple in a day may safe a chance of seeing a doctor 🤣🤣
