The downy woodpecker isthe smallest woodpecker in north america. Binominal name-Dryobates pubescens. Very beautiful looking bird. Common grackle- scientific name- quiscalus quiscula. This is comparatively big bird than downy woodpecker. Your canon eos 7d is a nice machine with the lens you used. I also think that people’s need to involve in different science project.

Wow Downy Woodpeckers is common to me, I have seen this bird in Bangladesh. There is a loudly sound when they cut the wood. Very nice to see this bird!
No idea about Common Grackle, looks like I have seen this.
