Achievement 2 @xuelianzi Task: Basic Security on Steem

Well, this security stuff, isn’t it just about remembering your passwords? But hey, since there's a task, I’ll do it. Here’s a quick and simple post.

Have you retrieved all your keys on Steemit?
Of course, I got all of them. I’m not that dumb. I have the full set: posting key, active key, master key, and memo key. Feeling secure now.
Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
Yeah, I know. Posting key is for posting, commenting, and all that daily stuff; active key is for transfers, powering up/down, and other important stuff; master key is the boss key, don’t lose it; and memo key is for encrypting messages when transferring funds. Each key has its own role, so I don’t mix them up.
How do you plan to keep your master password?
How will I keep it? Simple. Paper backup, of course. I’m not trusting everything to a computer. I’ll keep it on an external hard drive and have a printed copy stored safely. No one’s gonna see that master password, it's too precious.
Do you know how to transfer your Steem token to another Steem user account?
Oh, that’s easy. Just go to the Steemit wallet, enter the username, add the amount, hit the button. Active key to confirm, and bam, transfer done. I can also add a memo with the memo key, so I can explain why I sent it.
Do you know how to power up your STEEM?
I sure do. Go to the wallet, click on “Power Up,” select the amount, and confirm with the active key. Now I have more Steem Power, my voting strength gets better.

Conclusion
Honestly, it’s pretty simple. Keep your keys safe, and everything else is easy to handle. Using the Steemit wallet isn’t hard, and now I’m ready to power up and post more content. Task complete, let’s see if I pass!
