Hello guys, i'm here to present to you my practice session of our 8th workout-challenge, as instructed by @okoriepresh27 our instructor01

Intructor01 explained and demonstrated the different variations of plank exercise. I practiced the forearm plank. Let me show you guys how i did it.

Forearm Plank

Forearm plank exercise is a form of plank exercise. But this has to do with your elbows and hands suspending your upper body. The engaged muscles groups are as follows....

* Core

* Back

* Arm

* Leg

Benefits of forearm plank

1: The exercise strengthens the shoulders, Abs and core muscles, and stretches the leg(Quads, Hamstrings and calves)

2: The exercise improves your overall endurance and performance.

3: It improves your heart beat and helps you maintain a good heart condition.

How i practiced

Step 1: I assumed a regular push up posture, but i bent my elbows and rested the weight of my upper body on my forearm, with my palms faced down and fingers pointing straight forward.

Step 2: I tightened up my abs and kept my body in a straight line from head to feet.

I maintained the position for 2mins. Taking 10secs interval rest and went for 5sets.
