Not a golf buggy, it's a limousine

OK, it's probably a bit of a stretch to call this a limousine...It's not even a town car...And basically barely a car at all. It was a car though; Once upon a time.

I invited one of my mates to the farm to help do some culling last night and he suggested, because he is an old lazy bastard, that he bring his shooting buggy...I normally hike around which isn't the easiest as its quite hilly terrain, however I said why not and so he did.

I have a few better photos of the gold cart buggy to be honest, but they're on my camera...Which I left on the buggy...Which is at my mates place right now...So phone photos is all I have currently.

This used to be a road-going vehicle, one of those small (micro) SUV things...Like a big roller-skate. As you can see, someone took to it with a reciprocal saw, welder and some steel pipes and Mad Max'ed it into a shooting buggy. It's actually been done really well actually, quite professionally.

My buddy hasn't had it for long and has a lot of modifications planned, most of which will toughen it up a bit...Because it looks like a golf buggy. Lol.

It will eventually have off-road tyres, better suspension, more roll bars, gun racks, shooting rails, spot lights, roof-mounted adjustable shooting spotlight, a storage box and other bits and pieces. For now though... Well we drove around like a couple of golfers with guns and took care of business.

I'll be honest, I think my mate is going to lose interest and simply buy himself a Polaris as I think they are way better for what he needs to do but for now he's having a bit of fun with this thing and I have to admit we covered a lot more ground than what I would have on foot. _{I kind of love the walking though...Makes me feel like I've done something.}

We were out for a few hours yesterday, around 4pm - 9pm and I don't think my back will ever be the same; It's certainly no limousine-smooth ride and with all the holes, ditches, creek crossings and rocks...Well, I think I'll never be the same. We had a bit of fun though, hanging out, chatting and getting a little shooting done when a target presented itself. A reasonable night's work and a nice little break to clear my head.

I'll go and collect my camera from my mates place today and see if I got any decent pictures I can show you in a future post...I'm pretty sure I did.

I hope you guys all had a great week...Its Friday here, first thing in the morning and well...I'll be working from home again, making the most of it, and looking forward to fish and chip Friday night with Faith later on.
