Part 3 - Combining feeds as a article distribution tool.

Dear Steemit Community

  1. Create RSS feeds
Many website creation tools (like WordPress) and most CMS (Content Management System) automatically generate RSS and / or Atom feeds.

If your publishing tool does not automatically generate RSS feeds, you can also create your feeds by hand. But you will have to respect the specifications of the formats used (RSS or Atom).

It is in your interest to consider the content of your feeds as appetizers (title and a brief outline of the content) in order to bring as many readers as possible to your site.

  1. Make your feeds accessible
This is not only to make sure that users of your site find your RSS feeds, but also to indicate to browsers that your site offers an RSS feed. For this, we will use the link element .

Because proposing RSS feeds makes it possible to recover traffic and links to source pages. In addition, simple and automated content syndication is easier to set up than a newsletter and less cumbersome to manage. As the user comes himself to retrieve the RSS feed, there is no subscription / unsubscription system or customer files to keep up to date.

  1. Exchange feeds: OPML
Transferring content from one feed aggregator to another is usually easy. There is even an XML format suitable for this transfer. It is the OPML ( Outline Processor Markup Language ) format used to build lists or outlines .

Thanks to Yahoo Pipes you will be able to process data feeds from various sources, including syndication feeds. This powerful and sophisticated tool is however delicate to handle and requires some training.

Monitoring, content delivery and more
In addition to the watch and content distribution aspect , content syndication and RSS feeds have many other strings to their bow.

Marketing tool
RSS feeds are promotional tools just like a newsletter. Imagine that your information flow is selected and distributed by a site with strong notoriety: it will thus help to make your company known.

In this case, the information disseminated via RSS feeds has multiple advantages:

Available : As soon as the information is put online, it is immediately disseminated .
Filtered : If subscribers receive your information via email, anti-spam filters can no longer block it from being broadcast against certain mailings.
Chosen : if someone subscribes to your feed, it is because they want to. It is the customer's choice . Therefore, no problem of privacy protection.
Flexible : you broadcast what you want without constraints. No layout constraint. RSS feeds complement your newsletter well.
Social : RSS feeds can be consumed and shared through all kinds of apps, making your news viral .
Collaborative tool
Finally, in the context of an intranet, RSS feeds can become a vector of communication between employees and partners.

To avoid being overwhelmed by internal information (meeting minutes, notes, notices for staff, etc.) the RSS feed presents a quick and less formal alternative to sending emails. You can thus use an RSS feed to disseminate important information (update of a price list, contract, buyout, communication on the company, etc.) and various systems make it possible to secure all of this information.

Hello @adityajainxds

I really don't know that RSS has lot of this special great features most especially when it comes to blogging activities.

RSS feeds are promotional tools just like a newsletter. Imagine that your information flow is selected and distributed by a site with strong notoriety: it will thus help to make your company known.

I really got confused at this point. I understand the fact that RSS can also be used as a means of generating traffic on one's website or blog but does this mean that enabling Google ads will also make this promotional features possible?

Thanks for sharing this great post with love from @hardaeborla and I hope you have a great day ahead 💗💕💗

hello @adityajainxds,
I think this is what everyone who has a website wants, a flow of information from their website to potential customers, this tool has a lot of potential to attract organic traffic, I imagine it can be implemented with an email marketing strategy, if this tool can get past the spam filters of emails, it can give us the opportunity to build customer loyalty by sending offers and updates from our website.
