Storytelling and SMEs: Do you have a story to tell?steemCreated with Sketch.

Dear Steemit Community

The art of telling stories (storytelling) is a key element of modern marketing. Have you adopted it? Advertising slogans and product superlatives are no longer successful: they even upset customers who, in the age of the social web, are looking for more natural, more genuine contacts.

Stories are one of the oldest and most powerful communication techniques available . Used wisely and in context, they become a formidable technique of persuasion, a real selling point. Why are they so effective?
Because they combine reason and emotion , put people back at the heart of concerns (rather than the product or the act of purchase) but also because they initiate, show, reassure or inspire depending on the circumstances.

Don't think you don't have a story to tell everyone has. Think again ! Look around you, there are more sources than you might think. I will try to cover this in two parts to understand properly.

  1. The history of your company
What is the history of your company? How did she get started? What is the engine, the heart of your business? How did it develop? What are the highlights, the successes (and even the failures that made you bounce back). And if you are a young company, nothing prevents talking about the genesis of your project.

A few photos, a good script, a video… and your company presentation comes to life , makes you want to know more, to make contacts. Customers love to know who they're dealing with!

  1. The story of your passion
If you are not passionate about what you do, your products or your services, stop right now! You will never be able to convince anyone. Because a customer would much rather buy from an enthusiast than from a jaded salesperson. So, rather than putting together an arid or rave list of your product's features, talk about your experience and your passion .
People like to exchange experiences , tell each other success stories. They will be far more memorable than all the commercial benefits of your products.

Hello friend @adityajainxds

You are right the style to embroider a publication must have implicit a fresh strategy of persuasion, in my case I usually write about the wonderful plant world and everything related to the natural sciences, that is my passion and I try as much as possible to capture it day by day in my blog. Good post.

Best regards.
