Office Brawls, Politics, and Dramas, and How to Overcome and Prevent being Part of the Shoots

If you are an employee and you haven't heard of the word "Office Drama" or the word "Office Politics" then you must be working as a casual worker who isn't relating with anyone and has no deals with anyone. Office dramas can be more disturbing to that of a woman (I am not saying women have dramas, but we know they are very emotional). Office dramas can keep you up all night and unproductive all day. Favoritism, Gossips, Slander, Jostling for positions, Eye Service, Sabotage, Undermining reputation and so on. If you have experienced any of this either first hand or as a third party, then you understand what office dramas are.

Just like it is of humans to always find a way to lead, people would focus on other means to get what they need rather than do the job they are expected to do. Ones there is hierarchy, there is politics, and since hierarchy can be found in offices then politics cannot be escaped. Politics can be very interesting for winners but it can cause anxiety and stress for the losing party. When you are in the brawl, your productivity can go down to zero which might start to affect the company, and when the management see that you are having a negative effect on the company, the management will be left with no other option but to fire you. So how do you avoid this at all cost?

First, you need to understand that when you start working, most of your daily life is at the office so you are going to be in deep shit if you do not get things right. Working as a lone wolf will not help you at all in an office, it will only put you at the center of discussion and target based on hatred, so it is advisable that you create a group of friends even though you are opened to everyone. Be able to build friendship with only people who bring positivity to the organization as they will help you grow at work. Avoid at all means people who preach negativity and hatred in the office so you don't get dragged into their conversation with the expectation of you contributing.

Never vent your frustration at work or discuss a colleague to another at work, it only takes time before the topic becomes a matter of discussion at the office. Be sure to grow your relationship and vent your anger about the office at home to family members and friends who do not work at the office. If you feel unfairly accused or provoked, it is advisable to call the party involved and iron it out as civilized as possible.

One thing I always say to people is never react based on assumptions. Assumptions aren't facts, and only facts hold waters. be sure to never get caught in issues that you were assuming or speculating on because you could be acting on wrong information.

Also, you can't be out of the drama, so you need an escape route. Never be dragged into a conversation that isn't productive and never take sides when there is a brawl at work because you will end up creating enemies for yourself. Never reply to an annoying or negative comment or remark immediately, it can cost a lot. All you have to do is take your time to study the scenario and try to cool off before responding.

Final Words

With this, it is no doubt that you will be in the midst of a lot of drama, throws and office heat. It is best to concentrate on the value you are giving to the company and not reply based on emotion. be very flexible with groups, do not be fully involved in a group and do not segregate anyone.

Clearly, it is very important to keep in mind that you must work as a team, this creates a better environment, builds trust and creates the right scenario to avoid dramas, conflicts and uncomfortable situations. It is important to be motivated and stay focused, and in this sense the leader must be very well prepared.

It is usually really a nice experience when team members learn to work as a strong bond .

Hello friend, I think that in every company or institution, whether public or private, you can observe this kind of sterile situations that lead nowhere.

There are always people who want to drag you into their field to feel supported and to be able to inoculate you with all those infamous thoughts against other colleagues, that is why, as you mention, we must surround ourselves with proactive people, so we will always be part of the solution and not the ones who create the problems.

See you later, good article !

If a team consists of positive and proactive members, success is usually achievable and the process is even more swift.

Hello friend, I believe that those dramas will always exist in jobs, but as you say the best thing we can do is to stay focused and not take sides, otherwise it affects us so that we worry.

Thanks for reading friend.
