Hello friends, glad to have you on my blog once again, I hope you are doing great. As residents of Nigeria, we all understand how difficult it is to survive here right now, the absence of cash and the fact that our right was trampled upon in broad daylight and it seems as if nothing can be done about it can be very painful.

The fact that, regardless of the wicked and inhumane act that happened on that day of the election, where some people lost their lives, others were injured and some people even had to escape from their usual territory as a result of death threats received from political thugs, some people will still confidently support the humans behind this inhumane act actually drives me crazy, because how in your right thinking sense will you support someone who is cruel and has no pity or concern for the nation and for the country in general.
The consistent argument on this subject matter has been on for some time, but it becomes even more annoying and disturbing when you find that, your own family member or close friend is a part of this thought, but again while it is important for us to share our thoughts as matters arise, we also need to take steps in ensuring that peace and tranquility follow everything that we do, and in the midst of all that happens, we must not also forget that we should not lose friends and family due to a misunderstanding.
During an argument, always consider two factors; the relationship you have with the person and the issue you are discussing. If you are an effective communicator, you will be able to separate that topic of argument from the personality of the person and how it affects the person. If everyone can conveniently do this, then we won't have to lose friends or relationships over our choice of candidate this election period. Understandably, some people's choices are very lame, and even when we hear about it, we are surprised at their level of reasoning, but again is our trying to win an argument enough reason for us to lose a trusted friend who has always been there or that family member who has had your back since day one.
If you need to argue with a friend, colleague, or family member, remember the strong need to disassociate yourself from taking issues out of hand and losing a friend or family over a simple argument, learn to disassociate the personality of the individual from the topic at hand.
I hope this helps and helps us remain calm, and not loose friends during this tough economic phase.
