No business can exist without customers, any company who is claiming to thrive without customers is bound to fail already, that is why there is a strong need for customer research, an honest one at that, as well as analysis, which is what a business needs in order to compete in today's ever-rising and competitive market space if you take the liberty of walking a mile in the shoes of your customer, it will become easier for you to understand their needs from their wants.

    In market research and analysis, conducting a detailed study on a store's customers will help you understand the best approach if, for instance, your target market consists of older citizens, a different marketing approach will be used compared to someone whose target audience is young children and teenagers. When you appropriately study this pattern, it will help you understand the appropriate manner to lay out your store, which you can choose to do online or physically.

  • Understand the reason for purchase.
