Hi awesome people, in this post, I will be talking about how I created this business logo design for BookandGate Home Décor… the name says a lot about the business and what it is all about. In this post, I will be giving a run down on how I created this logo design, my thought process, the ideas that went into creating the logo design – the benefits and importance of the logo design in business… In the eyes of a regular person, a logo is just a single or combination of shapes or text or graphics or image that represents a business. They say this because they see this in almost every business… this is not far from the truth and is in fact somewhat correct but the truth is that, a business logo is much more than just a single or combination of shapes or text or graphics or image used to represent a business… it does a lot more and that is what I will be talking about in this post.
Logo is basically the identity of a business, it is the face of a business. A quality logo does a lot more for a business than a lot takes notice of. A good logo goes a long way in helping a business increase sales. Take companies/top brand like Nike, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Fedex, Adidas, National Geographic Channel and more, there is something common with these companies and that is that they all have great identity. Their logo has a strong identity which means that the moment you see their logo anywhere, you immediately know which company it is. That is what a quality logo brings. With this, customers remember these businesses anytime they come in across their logos.

Looking at this logo design, you can clearly see that I was going for an elegant and luxurious look which depicts the direction of the business which is elegance and luxury. The logo is also clean and minimal which makes it easy for the target audience of the business to remember and recall. The logo is also simple which is also a big factor when it comes to a logo being memorable. The more complex a logo is, the more difficult it is to remember. Creativity is also a big plus for this logo design as I also infused some hidden meanings into the logo design. The logo works well in various sizes. This is great because it means that the logo can be reproduced without in any size without losing its identity. The logo also works well in black and white – this is good for the business as it means that even if the logo is printed using only black and white, the identity of the business will be retained. Finally, the logo works well in any background which allows the business to print on any surface without recognition problems.
