The founder of MicroStrategy, Micheal Saylor; popularly recognized for his belief in Bitcoin, has recommended Bitcoin to Warren Buffett and to his company Berkshire Hathaway. He made this recommendation in a tweet, just before the shareholders meeting of Berkshire Hathaway.
Right from the start of Berkshire Hathaway, this particular shareholders meeting was the first, in which Charlie Munger was absent. Charlie Munger was the vice president, and old business partner of Warren Buffett; and in 2023 Charlie Munger passed away.
Both Charlie Munger and Warren Buffett have since been against Bitcoin. With both severely criticizing the cryptocurrency industry, calling it a volatile and unpredictable industry. But regardless of their opposition to Bitcoin, Bitcoin has been growing remarkably.
Presently, the market capitalization of Bitcoin has exceeded that of Berkshire Hathaway. With Berkshire Hathaway having a market capitalization of about $862 billion. And Bitcoin, having a market capitalization of about $1,245,020,193,429. As a result, Saylor recommends Bitcoin as an investment option to Buffett and Berkshire Hathaway.
