You may have been hurt by someone so badly, that all you think about is having your own pound of flesh. But in the end, the question is - Will a revenge make you feel any better? Or does forgiving and letting go serve you more? Which is preferable.

From the attitudes of little children, you can see that little children always want to revenge whenever something unpleasant is done to them. But you're an adult now - will you be seeking for vengeance like a little child? That's a question you should ask yourself.

Usually if you cannot forgive the person who have hurt you, revenging will not bring you any satisfaction. In reality, after having your revenge - you may feel worse, because now you've released the resentment, and there's no more anger for you to hold on to.

That's why you'll see that after a person gets their revenge, they feel lost and confused. This is because, they find out that it doesn't fix anything. Whatever was broken is still broken. You have to heal yourself eventually, because revenge won't heal you.

In fact, the revenge will only make you feel empty. You should consider having forgiveness. This is better for you, as you'll heal yourself. If you can no longer be friends with that person even after you've forgiven them; then simply avoid them.

I believe the best type of revenge is to heal and work on achieving so much success to the extent that we will become very proud of ourselves.
