In today's world, where the concern for the welfare of workers is increasing, it is necessary to take into account the aspects that somehow serve as a stimulus or motivation and that in turn allows them to improve their standard of living both the worker and his environment.

The workforce is the fundamental aspect of any type of organization, hence the human talent working in a company must be highly motivated, at ease with the work context, so that their performance is the best possible, otherwise there may be problems in achieving the goals and objectives, thereby affecting the mission and vision of the organization.

In this order, it is worth mentioning the importance that people take more and more in the organizational performance, in the final results in relation to the production and productivity of the company, about this Piñango (2008) states that "there have been for years ideas about the importance of people in organizations, therefore, the treatment of these should be motivating, so that they feel part of the company or institution and thus their performance is more efficient".

The above is based on the conception of the importance of people in organizations; they are emotional, biological and social beings, therefore, they are not machines that respond only to automatic instructions.

For their part, Piñango and Monteferrante (2007), "if organizations functioned like machines, management would be a very simple task, everything programmed would be done", which is why management must take into account the needs of its workers to provide the necessary incentives so that they feel highly motivated and create a greater organizational commitment.

This situation can be seen from two perspectives which are affecting companies: on the one hand, high inflation affects material costs and thus production costs, therefore, this effect should be transferred to the final price of the product, however, the regulation of these (product prices) requires adjustments in the cost structure, which is then where the other two elements of production costs, such as labor and manufacturing overhead, are used.

In this context, the second perspective of the problem is the high turnover of labor due to the difficulties of coping with the economic situation of the country with a minimum wage, therefore, workers prefer to assume some kind of informal economic activity that represents an income higher than the minimum according to the law and allows them to meet their needs and those of their family. This results in the desertion of labor to the informal economy.

For this reason, many companies in the Venezuelan case, have opted to grant economic incentives to their workers, trying to minimize the negative effects that the current economy causes to the real value of workers' salaries.

Greetings friend @dgalan

Currently the labor incentives are of great help to the staff that makes more effort in their work, and has become very common especially in Venezuela due to the low wages we have in the country, on the other hand this does not adversely affect the costs of companies, and the reason is because those workers who receive incentives, work with an extra motivation so they will always give their all for the company to work perfectly, at least in each of the areas in which they perform.

Greetings @chucho27
Work incentives are an incentive for workers ,as it motivates them to give the plus in their working days, to achieve the goals set by the organization, which results in higher production and better profitability. It is a win-win situation.

Hello @dgalan
The reality I see is that most people basically work is for money, and not exactly in places they like, let alone doing work they enjoy. So any economic incentive is going to be very well received, it is a great truth, it is a way to improve the life of workers and somehow make them more willing to work.

Greetings @ josevas217
Very true your appreciation my friend. Today in Venezuela many work out of necessity and obligation, where they can do it and these incentives help them economically, both the companies for the production and working to have a little more for their expenses .

Greetings friend. Under the situation that the country lives the labor incentives became a necessity in the companies, since in many the desertion of workers motivated by low wages became a serious problem, rotate employees so often does not allow the training of the same which affects productivity, so the incentives have the advantage of keeping a worker in their jobs for longer, although in the long run this does not suit the worker as these incentives have no impact on their social benefits.

Greetings @ emiliomoron.
I fully share your appreciation, these incentives only help the worker at the time, but in the long run, they worsen him as many other benefits that over time have ceased to perceive. At the moment of retiring from the company these incentives, which were attractive, are not part of their salary, for that reason they are not calculated in their social benefits.

I think it is a good initiative the one of the labor incentives, since it helps to alleviate a little the problem of the economic crisis and can place the workers in a better economic situation.

Greetings and thank you for your valuable contribution.

The economic factor in the organizations is always a point of criticism or stimulation, these incentives make workers more efficient, more committed to production, generating more profitability.
