Good habits of life to promote peace of mind.

It is not by chance, that many of us today bet on the search for spaces of peace, that appointments with therapists have increased, that the World Health Organization has decreed depression and sadness as the fifth cause of disability and death worldwide. In the midst of so much current affairs, we have let ourselves be carried away by networks, connections, screens and especially by life as a form of showcase that must be shown and exhibited, we are outside and we have forgotten our inner self.
We live surrounded by people who insist on telling us what is right for our lives, who speak as if they know us, when in reality many of us do not know ourselves. We find ourselves in the age of Instagram, of Tiktok and for those of us who once read some philosophy, today we are in Plato's cave where it is the shadows, the reflections of ourselves that take our place and become our truth, while our being is kept chained in darkness.
In order to free our own being, to remove depression and sadness from our life we must have peace and mental balance. But, how can this be achieved, is it perhaps that we must heed the call of those who claim to know and know more than us, let me tell you that no (of course if you want to attend therapy you can do it, it is never too much a specialist, in this case a psychologist), I deeply believe that the solution to many of our emotional problems, especially anxiety, stress, sadness and depression can be solved if we include in our lives good habits of peace of mind.

Some of these habits, we all know them, but we always look for excuses not to implement them, perhaps for fear of our potential once we have found our balance. These habits can be summarized as follows:
1.- Stay away from negative people, those who steal your energy, those who have nothing good to say, those who are always annoying. Remove from your life everything that subtracts. Remember we came to this world to add.
2.- Meditate, pray, pray, reflect. Dedicate a moment of your day to talk with the universe, to feel, to experience the infinite possibility of being part of this wonderful creation. Value your life.
3.- Clear your mind of negative thoughts. Negative thoughts tend to appear automatically (because unfortunately as human beings sometimes we think first of the bad), when they are about to appear think consciously about the positive and as you do your life will become your positive thoughts.
4.- Make time for yourself. Nothing is more important than having time to rest, eat, walk in the park, play with your pet, watch TV, read or do what you like the most. Yes, we have created the false idea that we are too busy and that we don't have time. But we must change that bad habit of procrastinating.

5.- Exercise and eat healthy. The balance of our mind and our energetic self depends to a great extent on the care of our organic body. We must never forget that this physical structure has a natural development and wear and tear so we must preserve it in the best possible condition.
6.- Love, value and respect your own existence. The most important thing about peace of mind is to know who we are and to love ourselves for it. Let us remember that the most important and longest lasting relationship we will ever have is with ourselves. No one gives what they don't have, so encourage self-love.
