The years and our decisions..

Have you ever thought about whether the choices you've made have led you to what you wanted to be?

As we have always said, life goes round in circles, but I believe that a large part of who we are today is thanks to our own decisions, some for the better, some not so much, but in the end the result is the same. More than a book written like many people think, we are the ones who write our own destiny.

Today, among the many things I did, I began to think, if the decisions I had made had brought me closer to what I really want or not, and well the answer was not very strong, I think that yes, I have made some bad decisions in my life, but fortunately it has not been a matter of dying, and passed by places that today I think did not make much difference in my life and on the contrary I spent some days not so good.

On the other hand there are the good decisions, or at least for me they were good, I always focused on having a career, I was always inclined towards the area of health and all the decisions I made led me to realize my dream, (THAT FOR ME WAS A GREAT DECISION).

I think that sometimes we find ourselves at a great crossroads, (WE DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO), it will be that yes or it will be that no, as I will go, it will be a bad moment or a bad decision, there are many questions that we ask ourselves at the time of assuming the reins of something, or of daring something new, but this is life, it is a constant decision making and the worst or the best depends on how we see it is that our FUTURE will depend on these decisions.

That's why I think that decision making is something fundamental in life, no matter how young we are they should teach us and focus on decision making, I know it's a little difficult since being teenagers we are often unbearable and we think we own the world, but for one bad decision we make we can drastically change the course of our history.

An example of this is joining not so good groups, having friends with different preferences and different visions of life, by getting involved with not so healthy people we can lose a lot, by being an accomplice to something we can go from being free to losing our freedom for many years, many innocent people have spent many years of their life in prison because of a simple mistake or a bad decision. So, do you think the decisions we make are important for our future? I think so.

Thank you for reading me!!

Relax haha I got the joke!! We Venezuelans are experts at that.

I think we constantly ask ourselves about your question at any age. When we are young, and we think we have a lot of time available and that we are always in time to recover, but above all as adults we rack our brain to understand if we have made the right choices. It's true that it depends above all on us, it's we who have to choose at a crossroads, it's we who bet on the right path to take. When things go in the opposite direction, we tend to blame fate. I think like you that our choices determine what we have become today. 😉👍

That's right, that's why decisions should be well thought out especially when we are adults!

Free will vs. destiny, the million dollar question maybe more ,i am watching Dark on netflix and it touches this same topic, you should see it

I've heard about that show, it's pretty good! The SINNER is good too!

I strongly agree with your point here! The type of decisions we make can actually make us successful and it can also get us destroyed if one isn't careful.

I've actually regretted taking some bad decisions back then which really affected me but It actually taught me a great lesson and I'll never make such mistakes again.

I'm also happy doing the right thing with my life taking the right decision and it has really helped me a lot and I hope very soon everyone will surely celebrate with me when it's time.

Thanks for sharing this great post with love from @hardaeborla and I hope you have a great day ahead

Hi @hardaeborla thanks for commenting, I wish life came with a manual so we don't make mistakes, but that's not reality, it's not about learning from mistakes and making our future the best it can be!

Hi @franyeligonzalez, great post.

That is what I have always thought, even written and taught on this subject. I think that our decisions, good or bad, are largely what determine where we will be in our last years of life.

So we must try to be wise with the decisions we make, it is true that we make some mistakes but we must avoid making the wrong decisions as much as possible.

Thanks for sharing!

Hello @fucho80 thanks for commenting, it is true, nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes but the lesson must be to learn from them.
