The technique is very simple and easy to perform, of course, if you have a sun and a clock with hands. Place your hand parallel to the ground with the clock pointing up.
if your House or you are standing or staying in North side then you should focus your clock at the sun.The point halfway between this arrow and 12 o'clock (13 o'clock in winter) always points to the South.
Now if you are staying in south then you should line your clock at the sun.The point of half the distance between the arrow and 12 o'clock (13 o'clock in winter) will always point exactly to the North.
Important! If the clock is moved forward to save daylight, use the distance of up to 13 hours as described above.
Another easy way is to look at the moss on the stones or trees, if there are any, of course, and if they have moss on them. It is formed only on the northern part of the stone, ie the opposite direction is South.
