For approximately 10 months, I have been working as an Assistant in the Department of Control of Studies and Evaluation of an educational institution located in my hometown.

In this educational institution, notions are taught in the initial, primary and general secondary education levels, according to the estimates of the Ministry of Popular Power for Education in Venezuela.

In particular, I have been able to observe that most of the students of elementary, and high general secundary school eeducation lack information related to cryptocurrencies. Likewise, in relation to Steem and Steemit.

I have also perceived that, at the level of general secondary education, among the subjects of study students are instructed in one called: Creation Group; although the denomination is longer.

Then, it seems to me ideal that from that educational level and subject in consideration, the teaching staff can impart notions and knowledge about cryptocurrencies, to the students; including what is related to Steem and Steemit.

I think that, with the rise of cryptoassets in today's society, educating in economic values represents a positive and significant action, from several points of view or aspects. Therefore, educational institutions and teachers are suitable to achieve the unspoken goal.

From this perspective, these would be the main goals contemplated in a Cryptocurrency Education and Training Project or Program, called: Steemit: Training School, aimed at elementary and middle school students:

■Incorporate learners in the context of digital commerce, manipulating advanced technologies.

■Enable learners to understand the meaning and importance of digital commerce.

■Provide updated information on blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, with emphasis on Steem.

■Publicize the Steemit.com platform through different activities and educational strategies.

■Incentivize students to get started in the manipulation of the Steemit platform.

■Encourage the creation of high-value content and image management on different social issues, free of plagiarism and with respect for the rights of authors.

I am aware that in this digital cryptographic platform, the topic addressed is not new, but for most students in the educational institution where I work, it is. In this regard, I think it is a genuine opportunity to provide information on cryptographic education.

You, my reader friends, and I, know that as digital citizens we are advancing day by day in the "Digital Age" scenario and that blockchain technology, arrived on time to innovate and stay. We need people capable and adapted to the changes and transformations of society, and the above is no exception.

Steem, the cryptocurrency, and Steemit, the Social Network have also arrived to the life and work of many people, and it is time to continue advancing in its promotion and rooting in today's society. Therefore, educational institutions are essential in achieving the proposed goals. We can all participate! Do you agree?

Today, without a doubt, it is relevant to create citizen awareness about the usefulness of electronic commerce, and the value of cryptocurrencies, therefore, citizens trained in the areas refered in this post are required, and the school is our best way to achieve.
