There are a lot of new blockchain projects out there. Gaming is gaining popularity. Many are really exciting from a development side.

Whole worlds are even being created. Some focus on creativity, while others cater to the technical crowd. Ideas are as important as programming.

Gaming for More than Just Fun

Blockchain Heroes are about the people behind the development of the industry. It's the best organized effort that I've found which preserves the history of blockchain. Not everyone who’s made first 50 Hero status is a developer. Some are well-known names like educators, investors or social media personalities. And that's OK, because blockchain is about more than computing.

Advancing How We All Use the Internet

The world of crypto is meant to be more than the Internet. This is often a challenging concept for those outside the space to grasp. Cryptocurrencies are about digitization and value. The Internet is about disseminating information. The line between the two is really not that fine.

Consider your personal information being like a pie that you just labored over to make for Thanksgiving dinner. Now imagine if a bunch of people (who are unknown to you) ate the whole thing and then immediately left. This would be like if you wrote an article that people read with interest and then was deleted by say Facebook.

In this instance, you have spent your time and effort writing for the benefit of others who did not appreciate it nor did you receive compensation. And on top of all of that, with the article being deleted, now you have nothing to show for your time.

The Power Behind Digital Assets

This is why we place importance on intellectual property rights and why online files are considered digital assets.

Cryptocurrencies are MORE than digital assets. They CONTAIN value and can be PROGRAMMED to act.

In the case of Blockchain Heroes, there is great value as a teaching and preservation tool. Each card is meaningful because it represents years of a person’s life dedicated to the crypto movement.

Blockchain Heroes and What it Can Become

Maybe one day, Blockchain Heroes will become an industry standard for contribution to the new economic model that humanity so direly needs.

Like obtaining a Master’s and, even more so, a Doctorate degree, the Heroes who are represented here will have made a significant contribution that advances decentralized finance, digital assets, blockchain development, decentralized supply chains and logistics, P2P transactions and the global flow of intellectual property.

Realizing Our Full Potential

No one knows what blockchain is fully capable of. We still have not even realized the full potential of the Internet. When everyone with a smartphone has their own personal AI and VR/AR becomes part of everyday life, then we may begin to speculate as to what crypto truly means to the world.
