I do not consider myself an expert in artificial intelligence or sociology, but for the moment I still think that AI will bring us more benefits than harm, it is true that it will kill most jobs and that this technology makes things much easier for those who like to scam, extort and misinform others but it will also generate new opportunities and improve our quality of life.

No me considero experto en inteligencia artificial ni en sociología, pero por el momento sigo pensando que la IA nos traerá mas beneficios que perjuicios, es cierto que acabará con la mayoría de los empleos y que esta tecnología facilita mucho las cosas a los que gustan de estafar, extorsionar y desinformar al prójimo pero también generará nuevas oportunidades y mejorará nuestra calidad de vida.

Lo que de verdad me pone la carne de gallina es que OpenAI pretenda traspasar esta tecnología a los robots, o al menos eso parece pues ha invertido una considerable suma de dinero en la startup noruega 1X Technologies que se dedica al diseño de robots humanoides, dedicados a realizar distintas tareas cotidianas y domésticas.

Lo curioso es que los mismos que escriben la carta alertando a la sociedad de los peligros de la inteligencia artificial, son los que han tomado esta iniciativa de hacerla bastante más peligrosa, entre ellos Bill Gates que es más peligroso que una piraña en un bidet.
Creo que a partir de ahora tomaré mas en serio las amenazas de la inteligencia artificial.
